Pratt-Thomas, Gumb Office Building:

In 2002, the Pratt-Thomas, Gumb Office Building was designed to create a contemporary office building with materials and elements rooted in Charleston history. The Cooper River side of the Charleston peninsula has long served as the industrial hub of the city where rail lines and warehouses served the busy port. This building recalls these utilitarian structures, both past and present, while addressing a modern use for its occupants and the city of Charleston.
